J. Condra Smith (he/him) is a queer writer with roots in Mexico and the U.S. He holds an MFA from The University of Maryland, where he also taught creative writing. He is the recipient of the 2025 Stella Kupferberg Short Story Prize. His work has appeared in Electric Literature, Fiction International, Peatsmoke, and elsewhere.
